TimCo Concrete Thunder Bolt Anchors Hex Head Self Tapping Multi Fix Fixing Bolt

The unique patented concave thread design of these Timco multifix concrete bolts, taps its own thread and provides a rapid, low torque installation with exceptional pull out resistance. It also allows the user to adjust or remove the bolt ensuring a secure and accurate installation. This stress free, non-expansion through-fixing is the new solution for heavy duty anchoring into concrete, brick, stone, wood and concrete block, replacing the need for traditional anchors such as throughbolts, shield, sleeve and drop-in anchors. Used with a range of Building materials, including concrete, stone, brick marble, wood and block, the fully threaded anchor and self tapping allows for safe anchorage, where the substrate becomes the nut for the bolt. The Thunderbolt can be installed closer to edges and closer together at varying depths, which provides a stress free fixing.
Installation is quick and easy. It is the ideal general purpose anchor which can even be used on temporary jobs as it's completely removable. Manufactured to standard sized hex bits which make them the cost effective fix for any job.
Used by general builders, property developers, fencing contractors, shop fitters, plumbers and roofers for a variety of jobs including, supporting fence posts, attaching handrails to walls, affixing satellite dishes and joining timber battens to brickwork. How to use: Drill a hole the same size as the Thunderbolt into the material. Ensure the hole is a little deeper than the bolt to allow for dust. Remove any loose dust from the hole. Screw in the Thunderbolt with a socket wrench.
Apply a slight downward pressure to start the self-tapping action, as you would with a wood screw. Tighten the Thunderbolt to secure the fixture in place. Matching and complimentary products available in our shop.
