Thermostatic Shower Mixer Valve and Waterfall Fixed Head Kit. At Ergonomic Designs we are proud to announce that our valves are made in the UK and that we have gone to great lengths to design our showers and make them some of the best value showers on the market. The shower arm, head, and handheld shower in this set are made from solid brass with a chrome finish to make them a lot sturdier which you may not get with other brands. The Ergonomic Designs shower range brings together the latest designs with the most up to date technology. The valve has ceramic disc technology to prevent drips, and the latest thermostatic cartridge to prevent scalding. Please note, you will require rear access in order to install this shower head. What's Included in this set?
You will receive a three way, UK made, brass shower valve with a stunning chrome finish and square handles. This has a middle temperature handle, a singular on/off for one outlet and a separate flow diverter control allowing you to have 2 outlets running at the same time. The waterfall shower head and handheld shower are made from brass with a chrome finish to match the valve. Will this work on my system?
This product is suitable for the following systems; gravity fed systems, combi boilers, MegaFlow systems, pumped systems (negative head), unvented systems, or pressurised cylinder systems. To run this shower system you will need a minimum of 2 Bar of pressure and a minimum recess behind the tiles of 72mm. Other manufacturers may source their valves from overseas, these valves may not meet the requirements and serviceable parts may be difficult to acquire if needed. Our valves also have a much higher flow rate than other manufacturers. For more information please see the additional images for a flow rate graph and information on the valve. We are proud to announce that our Ergonomic Designs thermostatic shower valves are now made from high quality brass with a beautiful chrome finish in Britain.Our cartridges are also manufactured and tested in the UK by Valquest. These valves will shut down within 1.5 seconds in the event of a hot or cold water failure. Other valves may take longer if at all, this can lead to scalding. Tests have shown that Ergonomic Designs valves don't contain any lead or arsenic.
This is not guaranteed on other shower valves. Valquest cartridges will limit the water to 48 degrees celsius to avoid scalding injuries which can not be said for all other valves.
Stylish Design and Latest Technology. We use brass chromed components to give a stylish chrome, mirrored finish. Our shower heads come equipped with easy clean neoprene nozzles to quickly and easily remove limescale buildup on them.Our valves have easily accessible non return valves, this means that if there are any problems you can easily reach them without taking the whole valve out, some cheaper valves may not have this and tiles may need to be broken to access them. Replacement parts are easy to find if needed, some overseas manufacturers may not have serviceable parts readily available.
