This metal is tensile strength rated at 220,000 psi.
In addition to phenomenal temperature stability, ARP2000 has excellent notch toughness. Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant is Included with this kit. Diesel head studs are manufactured in ARPs Santa Paula, CA plant from proprietary. 2000 material, with threads rolled after heat-treat to provide optimum fatigue strength. Bolts are centerless ground to assure perfect concentricity. The ends of the arp bolts head studs are broached to facilitate easy installation. This feature also enables the cylinder head to be removed in tight quarters. Bolt kit are heat-treated, chrome-moly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers.Bolts are black oxide finished for extra durability. In order to ensure optimum quality control for their head studs, bolts, and other products. Has grown to be exceptionally self-reliant and now controls all aspects of the manufacturing process.
